The BASSIRI FOUNDATION organizes a series of meetings to discover the spaces of the Foundation and the artist’s works on display.
The visits, in the presence of the artist, will take place monthly and will be conducted each time by a young contemporary art critic.
The “Meetings at the Foundation” will be coordinated by Aldo Iori, director of FB Editori, with a calendar of visit days aimed at promoting knowledge of the Foundation and its activities. This is within the general planning of the Foundation which intends to enhance the research of Bizhan Bassiri and become a reference in the cultural offering of the territory, with teaching, training and disciplinary in-depth activities, aimed at teachers, museum operators, researchers and art lovers.
Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Bassiri Foundation is scheduled the second annual event.
This year the day will be dedicated fully to the theme proposed by artist Bizhan Bassiri: The Dilemma. How would the world continue to exist without being reflected in our eyes?, a question taken from Reflection 64 of the Manifesto of Magmatic Thought (1986-2023).
